A MAN'S HOME IS HIS CASTLE- OR IS IT?
Today's Waterloo Region Record carrys this story "Police responded to report of gunshots". O.K. I'm having some difficulty with the scenario as presented in the Record. The defendant charged with murder is the son of the homeowner and lives there with his father. A police spokesperson described " ...the incident as a break-and-enter with violence.". The two surviving home invaders have been charged with "...the attempted robbery of Rodney Lamka with a firearm.". The murder defendant's lawyer concurs by stating "I believe the police are operating on the belief it was a home invasion in which the victims turned the tables.". The opening paragraph refers to "...an apparent home invasion with a handgun went awry...".
So since when does a citizen not have the right to defend themselves, their family and their home with force? The three home invaders had a handgun. One of them ended up dead and the other two injured. Geez tough life isn't it guys when you can be injured or killed while breaking into someone's home. This case has an odour to it. Apparently the shooter, that is the son of the homeowner, is "known" to police. Well does that mean allegedly prior convicted citizens lose their rights of self defence? Are the Waterloo Regional Police being extra cautious and thorough or are they simply discriminating via murder charges and incarceration against a citizen who's made past mistakes? Stay tuned as I hope this case is clarified soon.

what also needs know to the public is both the father and son lived alone on farm for over ten years living with disabilities father head injuries son multiple liabilities and the robbers home invaders were repeat home-invaders and hard drug users who robbed people repeatedly luckily his son was home or it would been another mystery murder
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of the above. I feel the Police are using the home owner 'history' as leverage for other things. Adding to their circumstances. I do not feel murder charge should have ensued their was not intent or premeditation, it was a robbery and home invasion from those recently let out of prison, for exactly the same offences. The offenders were known to have attempted murder before, what were they even doing out on the streets???
DeleteOriginal reports of this incedent stated that this was an icolated incedent, what would make three men with prior convictions for attempted murder and armed robbery who are also alleged heavy drug users target this paticular house in small town Baden? Why were the people living in the household assosiating this people like this? This was not a random act. On another note, even employees of a bank are told if someone comes in witha gun give them what they want, Canadians don't have the right to use deadly force in self defense situations. Bottom line the home invaders had a gun give up what they want and let the police handle the rest, is 25 years in jail worth the items they were going to steal?

DeleteThe problem is the person shot and killed was outside at the end of the driveway. I'm not sure as the details of the that part of the incident but I will assume that after the attempted robbery the would be robbers tried to flee the scene at which point it would seem the deceased was shot and killed. Not knowing again all the details but if the attempted robber was shot in the back or back of the head etc....and that's where you have your issue. You are permitted to defend your home and property but if the threat has been diminished as in the case of the attempted robbers leaving the scene or attempting to leave the scene when the shooting occurred then the threat has been diminished to the point where self defense is no longer a capable defense. I'm not defending these robbery suspects when stating this, but only referencing my knowledge of the law. It is the obvious reason in my eyes why Crawford is still incarcerated. I'd assume this will be a long and drawn out trial

It sucks that Crawford had to be put in this shitty situation however he isnt innocent. Everybody knows that the Lamkas allegedly had drugs and money there. its a known fact a couple towns over that their place was the spot to go to get the dope so quit the poor Lamka crap. Im sorry But the guy who was killed wasnt killed by a gun that the 3 of them allegedly brought to the lamkas to use on the lamkas and for use in a robbery. The gun was already on the scene. Yeah it was the Lamka's gun. The 3 guys went to the lamkas to do an alleged dope deal which is what the guy that was murdered, Henry jarsch was told. His own friends, who he trusted turned the tables on him! each and everyone of the people who were allegedly the robbers and the alleged victims are all a part of it!! there is only one victim in this case...Henry Alexandr Jarsch. May he rest in peace. I wish I could say more...but I feel like I have said too much already.
ReplyDeleteRest in peace Henry Jarsh too late to hope for that cause hese rotting in hell for the ettempted armed robbery there was no debt of any kind it was 100% attempted armed robbery wearing disguises denis gagnon concocted the bull storey about a debt in hope to beat the charge n walk but the judge found then guilty of attemted armed robberry and its a fact denis n scot wear found guilty n sentenced to 2 years I was in the court room there was no agreed apon facts it was over a debt it was agreed they came to commit a armed robbery the news reporter is on crack and nobody can understand why the reporter said it was over a debt was armed robbery attempted why they got 2 years in jail don't believe that crack head reporter who's confused and wasn't listening clearly and must not realized the facts that they were being charged with attempted armed robbery a collect on a debt is bull every one knows was no debt of any kind just junkies try to rob a pot dealer who said that henry jarsh the dead robber was owed money that was a sick storey to make up blaming a dead guy when the lamkas said they'd give poligrafs that was no debt and the robbers were all shot in the home in self defence that's a clearly known fact all 3 were shot in the home in self defence witch in other countries is legal but in Canada we have no right to shoot in self defence only police can that's why criminals in Canada and home invasions continue to rise if this was Texas or another country Crawford Lamka wouldn't spent 1 second in jail and he'd been praised instead of sent to jail for getting that scum bag robber off the street n making Canada a safer place to live its a known fact he died tryn to do a robbery so its a fact he's rotten in hell period as well a fact it was a attempted roberry masterminded by Denis also known as Denny Gagnon who set up the robbery Henry Jarsh n Scott White never met the Lamkas before I know the Lamkas and was in court and know that court reporter had to been smoking something cause was no debt of any kind pure attempted armed robbery in my eyes aswell as every person I know that court reporter should be sued n fired for saying was a debt how does one owe anything to one they never met the judge clearly dismissed they debt lie n convicted them of armed robbery that's a fact aswell as Henry Jarsh is in hell were a career criminal n home invader goes strait to hell Hevans only for Angel's everybody knows that.

It wasn't a dope deal and before you sit there and say poor Henry they DID in fact go there with weapons and we're planning on robbing them because Dennys dumb ass thought they had drugs which they didn't and the cops even know that. Rodney was robbed by denny a year before this as well which then Yes he was dealing but once got robber had slowed down to pay his debt! ReplyDeleteFirst of all all 3 home invaders got shot in my home tryn to commit another armed robbery henry jarsh wasnt shot outside he was shot inside my home and everyone knows was no debt of any kind as the judge knows and sentenced them for attemted armed robbery not coming to collect on a debt thats bull dont even know or ever met henry jarsh or scott white it was a storey that denny and a scott made up but the judge isn't stupid but the court reporter is and should be sued for writing in his own version instead of truth was no debt and my son warned them to get out prior to having his life threatened all 3 were shot point blank once Then they scurried out of the home with nothing why they were charged and convicted for Attempted armed robbery if this was states like Texas Crawford wouldnt a spent a day in jail but this is Canada criminals can try n kill you and you cant touch them and you have to hope the criminals don't slip and get hurt committing a crime on you're property or the criminals can sue you only in Canada also only in canada can a court reporter make up a bull storey about a debt boy is that reporter stupid even the judge knows they were charged for and convicted of Attemted armed robbery even the judge said there was no debt was attempted armed robbery all I can say is in Canada were supposed to have equal rights like the states were one can shoot in self defence but in Canada only the police can shoot some one if there lifes being threatened in Canada victims have to hope they live in Canada and criminals don't get hurt on youre property committing a crime or we can be sued Only in Canada does a criminal have more rights then victoms theres a old saying average time for police responce is 10 to 15 min victoms be dead by that time im just glad my daughter wasnt home and me n my son survived all my friends agree Crawfords a hero many states are proud of him and alot of canadains too

ReplyDeleteI know Rodney n his family who was left a single parent in 1988 kids then were 10 months old 22 months n 3 years old he raised all 3 kids on his own they all graduated high school n work full time even though police would go in his school n and label him to be a bad kid n watch him he still graduated Crawford worked 3 years one trucking firm and 4 years another but after 2 years of constant police pulling over Crawford on way back n forth to work police would pull him over n pick on him one case he was driving a company vehicle and pulled him ovrr n punch him in head pulled him out company vehicle assaulted him thtew him to ground n had 2 police officers assault him then lie n say they didnt but s I u found they lied due to witnesses who were disgusted by actions of kitchener police dept or new hamburg dep even though he survived police assaults he constantly got up next day went to work n Strait home to be with his father who had head injuries n suffered from seizures after a first home invsssion were Denny had Rodney set up to be robbed at gun point n ducked taped up Rodney main goal was to move but denny found out he was moving in 6 weeks and thought hede gather up some of his carreer criminal friend who were meth users n crack users to try n do it again in hopes they could raise money to pay off scott n denny smeth debt with jarsh by pure luck Crawford came home from a weekend baby sitting his sisters dog for the weekend and got home 10 mins prior to the home invassion few hrs early thank god or there could been yet another unsolved murder even though denny would been main suspect due to denny setting Rod almost year prior n Rod knew it Denny eho was a heavy crack user at time thought he was untouchable n had a attitude of prove it wasnt me hede say but he set him up n was commen sence who did it the night if the home invassion denny eho was on the run from police for several offences but made his way back from hidding out west to rob several dealers and go back out west.thsnk god Crawford who had just got home was there in his room playing video games as he did most nights due to police harrassing his s on in public rod faught off henry jarsh n denny as scott tried to gain entry by time Crawford came out his room all 3 were inside disguised n armed with wepons after yelling get out denny turned on his s on with base ball bat scott had a sword n jarsh was tryn to attack Crawford when he shot all 3 once in his family home all 3 were shot in self defence same as police do when in fear for life so its commen sence that Crawford was a hero and not a murder if he isnt then so is every police officer who shoots to kill a murderer so mutch for equal rights to self defence n tryn to live in Canada one must hope police can sovle or prove who did it here cause we all know police are only ones who can murder or shoot to kill here .Mans home is his castle guess not in Canada maybe the states n other countries here we get charged or if we hurt a home invader and possibly sued Laws need to be changed cause Crawford only shot in seld defence not yo kill obviously he only shot as the tried to attack him in self defence same as any police officer would of done when in fear for there life or others lives he shot in there direction once at each one of home invaders who were armed wearing masks. ReplyDeleteCrawford lamka should of sued school board for acuzing him selling of possesing or being a drug dealer for simply shaking his caudins who he hadnt met in years his causin walked up to him said hi remember me and crawford said no he said im you're causin they dimply shook hands his causin was a known drug dealer n went yo thst school years prior t o crawford moving to kitchener the school emidaitely grabbed crawford once enetering school searched him for drugs witch he had none snd sccused him of selling drugs but there stupid cause crawford was a handi capped child with ash burgers syndrome n couldnt read write add or subtract witch his father pointed out and imediately pulled him out of the high school he just started and took him to school board n they placed him W O in country were his 2 sisters went crawford was placed in a special needs class room but the kitchrner police went in that school and labeled him a drug dealer cause they didnt like his causins known drug dealers once again police had to be told crawford csnt add subtract and at thst piint didnt smoke pot or do any drugs boy we live in a back ward society first 3 schools harass crawford n police a youth with no record but police would continue to harrass him in school in public even after graduating grade 12 one could say should sue police n school board but chances are slim in canada to have a lawyer even stand up for a disabled person lawyers rather spend time with bigger law suits and theres no human rights here as were learning a man is not a king if his castle the home invaders are the king of youre castle n our new government has no interest in human rights they'd rather make billions selling pot n make up laws to protect there government grow operations then help some one betrayed by schools police who ignore human right to education n being harassed or society is corrupt government police schools all ignore human rights and give a person 4 years for self defence accidenty killing one home invader ehile home invaders only got 2 years n wrecked 2 families the lamka s family got destroyed and so did henry jarhses family suffer a loss all because criminal greed who also thought there above the law but unfortunately or by carma henry jarsh found himself below the law 6 feet below ground or further im sure as I agree with the other writer rotting in hell were every professional home invader belongs in hell or behind bars youre a hero crawford police shoot n kill in self defence all time so if youre a murderer so is our police forces in canada murders I also feel happy they do shoot to kill criminals I wish I had there job
