WSIB & MIN. OF LABOUR HYPOCRISY & CORRUPTION
Today's Waterloo Region Record carries the following article titled, "Appealed rubber claims will be reviewed." Apparently a number of twice rejected claims by rubber workers for workman's compensation will now be included in the sweeping review being undertaken by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Also our inimitable Ministry of Labour are also conducting a major review of occupational cancer led by Dr. Paul Demers and expected to be released by the end of the year.
All of this folks is simply a smokescreen. The facts, the data and the scientific knowledge have all been with us for many decades. Various solvents cause various cancers. Rubber chemicals and their additives are carcinogenic. In Europe in the late 1800s doctors were diagnosing cancer at elevated rates in chemical and dye workers in the textile industry (Travis-Agaard Report). These are the same and or similar chemicals still used today in various rubber and chemical industries.
The smokescreen is that before the WSIB can reverse their decisions they need to pretend that their new decisions are based on new medical information. Bullshit three times over! What this has always been about is money. Since 2014 appeals of WSIB decisions have grown significantly while compensation payouts have been slashed in half. This will allow employers' contributions to be reduced ensuring more donations to the favoured political parties (Liberal & Conservative).
Meanwhile the WSIB Chair (Liz Witmer) who has overseen this disgrace is crying crocodile tears publicly regarding the financial crisis that she and the WSIB have caused for families suffering from rubber industry exposures. This is not to mention the health crisis that their colleagues over at the Ministry of Labour have allowed to continue and fester for many decades, all in the name of corporate profits. Flock off and stop sacrificing citizens to enhance both government and industry bank accounts.

WSIAT hopefully will over turn WSIB decision.WSIB has screwed alot of canadains and owe alot of canadains back pay from day they became sick .Those who are dead and didn't see a dime,there family members should be fully compesate. A civil suit needs to be launched if WSIAT foesnt agree with drs. To compesate I'll canadains and the widows of the ones who died.We all know insurance companies look for loop holes WSIB is the worst mafia style corrupt pyramid scam that canadains pay into. They hope canadains die do they don't gave to pay a dime "trillions saved".I say back date every claim if someone's been fighting for years they have a right to be compesate back to day 1.Presently you csn be denied disability for years snd decades if you ever get approved they only back date you're claim I believe was less then 2 years is most they back date.THATS THE PERFECT SCAM WSIB is playing.Saving trillion or steeling is same thing.If were handing out millions to lady's who men flirted with people who died and lost lives and loved ones deserves to be justified compesated, not continuously screwed over.Equal rights in Canada has a long way to go . Definately a smoke screen to hide the government's mafia style pyramid style scams. Worked for mafia unions in old days made mafia rich and still does.Our government ways of blackmailing home owners tax payers threatening with jail n fines .I think we need to hold the ones WSIB who are denying canadains accountable they need to be fined fired and even jailed for corruption deny the nessesities of life, embesalment,fraud,WSIAT should be announcing all claims be fully compesated back to day became sick.Weve all watch WSIB screw canadains deny claims.Now we will watch and demand WSIAT justify things or we gge people need to dismantle this mafia style pyramid scam the government calls WSIB and canadains call mafia style pyramid scam.
