AUTHORITIES TAKE DISTRACTED DRIVING SERIOUSLY



Literally for decades I have suggested that the major cause of automobile accidents is neither drunk driving nor certainly not speeding on its' own. The term that I have long used is driving HUA which means Head Up Ass. A very large percentage of our drivers are driving by habit and instinct. They are far too self involved and self important to actually focus on one and only one task while behind the wheel. That involves 100% of one's attention to the ever more perilous task of navigating roads with more and more traffic on them.

Today's Woolwich Observer newspaper has an article titled "Distracted driving remains a leading cause of accidents". The Ontario Provincial Police have stated that for the last three years distracted driving has indeed been the leading cause of fatal car accidents in Ontario.

Distracted driving was first brought to the public's attention via the use of cellphones while driving but also includes self grooming, eating, tending to children and even for some, reading while driving.

    If the police take it seriously why don't they set a example n stop playing on there computers while driving around I read news articles police officer drives into school bus and lady police officer dies in Guelph while on call in route one could go on and on about computers in police cars but be waist of time there above the law they can drive while being distracted typing on key boards shoot n kill or Murder if they fear for there life so maybe they should practice what they preach and set a better example I know theres hands free apps for disabled just ask or say and computer doesnt need to be typed and I know the police have tazers so why not use them and batons I read 2 officers shot n killed a patient in a hospital murdered the man point blank 2 trained officers who feared for there life n safety of public from a patient in a hospital I hear that excuse alot feared for there life so emptied a gun into one gods children n murdered them or shot witch ever dounds better to public n SIU too bad canadains dont have same rights clearly there above the law so asking them to set a better example and use hands free technology and every officer to carry a tazer aswell be a stupid idea but it would save lives and thats supposed to be there job to serve n protect not harass n kill as they please So seriously practice what use preach n set better examples n maybe taze instead of murder was disgusting to see a y tube video if officers surround a bus in Toronto guessing none thought to taze him till a officer emptied his gun in him clearly murder Seriously maybe taze first should be manditory training and every officer to carry tazer
