SHAME ON THE ELEMENTARY TEACHER'S FEDERATION, LOCALLY
The President of the Waterloo Region local of the ETFO, Greg Weiler, appears to be talking both through his hat and in a self serving manner. In today's Waterloo Region Record Opinion column of Luisa D'Amato, she quotes Mr. Weiler's opinions concerning standarized provincial testing. He is adamantly against it. His reasons however in my opinion are sheer nonsense. Luisa points out the positives for parents , children and educaters behind these tests and how they stimulate a focus on soild foundations of literacy and numeracy. Teachers' unions have certainly demonstrated great strides in their literacy, their puffery and their overall backpatting talents. I wish both the weaker teachers and their union were willing to put half that effort into improving student learning.

Have to agree not as bright kids are excluded from taking the test so teachers look better when results are complete when in fact alot students are forced to take ritalin so there melow quiet too stoned to learn anything mutch more then the date as I found out eith my son Crawford we were told when we moved to the city of kitchener by school principal that other lamkas had to take medication to keep them mellow at school so Crawford needed it too so I did my own test on school sent my son to school taking ritalin they praised the drug n said hese mellow but in fact couldnt tell me mutch about his day cause my young child was too stoned to barely remember mutch of the day so yes I tested the ritalin pushing school board n teachers sent him tty o dchool for 5 days on and a week off the drug by end of second week they were praising the drug n how he was doing so I told the principal who had other students n pushing the drug so kids wouldn't distrupt class that for the second week he in fact wasnt on ritalin Just Pure old fashion bribing be good n behave be wuiet in class n you can play video games act up no games the school n pricipal was shocked they were being tested shame on them for rather having kids on drugs n not learning then actually having patience or consequences so kids behave and on another note we moved away from kitchener n returned years later and my don was sent tty o a high school were one my causins atteneded who was known to sell pot o my son alittle while later whil r getting off the school bus had a big guy walk up to him n say remember me my a on said no he said im youre causin n shook his hand once my son enetered the school he was searched and acused of selling pot when my handicapped don could add or subtract as nd at that point was 14 n never smoked pot so I pulled him out that predujuce school n put him in another that day we I ttyh hrlp of dcholl board n promises not to sue or go tty o news papers he then went to W O high school in the country were therr was old fashion teachers with patience n I watch3d my son grow n learn n play football till police acuused him of sell8ng pot once again fortunatrly the scholl n me had to educate the police n remind them the handicapped child couldnt add or subtract n at that point the police were just harrasding my son Crawford based on relatives behaver n having same last name meant he was too but yah strange how ones supposed to have equal right to education n life when we ddonthere in Canada police n schools do as the please clearly school boards above the law and police have every right to kill n self defence but public had no or little right to have equal rights Canada needs to change laws so we do actually have the charter of rights n a right to live n be educated
ReplyDeleteAlso not to seem prejudice its not all teachers or school board workers or police are bad just a few have prejudice and above the law attitudes to think they can do and say as I agreed talk through there hats thinking they can say and do things to make like its a wonderful world when in fact theres alot if problems in schools n on the streets now a day's its not as safe as it yoused to be and its a good thing to see more special needs classes for kids with disabilities and its also nice to see not all police officers are prejudice 99% set good examples and are care but theres a few as we learn everyday that shoot and kill using the term feared for there life or public safety when canadains have no rights to life and have to die instead of defend there life or go to jail for accidently killing some one in self defence when 1% of police can shoot n kill knowing they just have to say feared for there life and public safety our laws need to change so we all have equal rights like other countries and the right to life like other countries and the right to defend them self like police do our laws need to be updated changed rewrote so every canadain has a right to life equally not just police is my point but im just a man with head injuries what do I know a bout equal right n right to life and the steps to take to have laws rewrote so the charter of rights make every one in canada equal as it was intended or supposed to be as we though by movies n other countries in a kill or be killed situation I choose to fight n protect my son and he choose to defend his life and shoot like any police officer would of done in fear for there life and thats why I feel the charter of rights in canada isnt equal ad many agree and feel the same way disgusted we dont have equal rights to life and criminals have more rights in youre home then the home owner things need to change before more innocent people die or are murdered or go to jail and schools need to be more tested full testing for all students and teachers are tryn but have there hands tied as do students worlds not perfect but with help and equal rights it could be a lot better and safer for our kids and every canadain rich or poor every ones equal in eyes of the lord thats way charter of rights was intended so every child of the lord has a right to education snd a right to self defence as nd s right to life
