ANOTHER JUSTICE SYSTEM FAILURE
Today's Waterloo Region Record carries the following article titled "Lawlor shouldn't have got pardons". The columnist's first sentence is a dandy namely "We pay a fortune for the justice system.". Her third sentence starts with "But what we're actually paying for is a giant bureaucracy...". Right there Luisa D'Amato has hit the nail on the head. Or as a friend of mine is fond of saying "justice" should be written as "just us".
Derrick Lawlor murdered a Newfoundland man in 1983, was jailed and later pardoned. In 1997 he drove to Ottawa with the purpose of murdering and maiming his brother. He was convicted, served time and eventually received another pardon. Anyone see a pattern here yet?He has told police officers of other plans he has had to murder men. Then lo and behold he murdered yet another man in Victoria Park in Kitchener. What are the odds he'll eventually get yet another pardon? Anybody think that our pardon system along with our judicial system is completely messed up?

Seems like the boy is a repeat offender be nice to know any other missing people he could be responsable for Lawlor should never been let out and hopefully never gets out.Our justice system and courts need to be updated equal right to defend you're life or family or anyone's life it's in human rights we have right to life n defend a life same as a police officer but if you're a citizen n in a kill or be killed situation you accidently kill a criminal defending you're life you can end up in jail for 4 or more years.when if you're a officer you can legally shoot to kill if he fears for life .So you best not even give a officer goosebumps or a excuse.I think if courts got stiffer on criminals and for some one who intentionally kills repeatedly there should be death penalty there be alot less murders and save tax payers billions After all we do it to animals dogs and animals excetra..But yes there's tinned wrong with our laws.should be like more states to be like equal human right to life. Not just a officer but citizens too.
