SEXUAL OFFENDERS HIDING WITHIN THE WATERLOO REGIONAL POLICE?



The Waterloo Region Record published the following story on February 2, 2018 titled "SIU investigating 4 sexual assault allegations involving officers". The investigation is of the Waterloo Region Police (WRPS). The alleged assaults are in regards to a class action lawsuit that was filed last June and in which a number of complaints including sexual assault were stated. Further to the initial lawsuit there were three Affidavits filed this past December, in support of the suit, and in which three new complainants also added more allegations against specific officers within the WRPS.

The fact that the SIU is investigating these complaints is a good sign. That said however the fact that they didn't go to the SIU a long time ago is worrisome. There are many possible reasons for this not occurring including the understanding that it could be career suicide. The promotion within the WRPS may very well be, as alleged, discriminatory. In other words rather than promotions based upon merit, the criteria could be extremely subjective including opinions of the very same officers accused of illegal or immoral behaviours. Hence who in their right mind, seriously trying to get ahead in the force, would want to allege criminal misconduct by one (or more) of their superiors?

    Sad police officers didn't say something sooner to protect other female officers and citizens from these sex offenders A true officer who swore a oath to protect and serve the public would of filed a complaint instantly aswell as placed the officer who committed these crimes under arrest.think of it this way the female officer has s gun and badge and had power to arrest the officer.why was allowed to continue why are these officers still working.Nobodies been fired nobodies been punished by the force.Even the female officer that kept quiet and didn't uphold the law so they could protect other female officers and the public failed to do there duty and put others at risk even public.distirbing to know officers in past have had complaint about sexually assaults committed by officers assaults beating citizens shooting and murdering citizens yet always allegations get denied and cleared.Now fellow officers are stepping forward Yeh FINNALLY. WE HAVE SOME HONEST OFFICERS ..Abit late seeing how others were effected by there waiting.It a mixed feeling seeing 6 officers ask for 167 million WERE AND HOW does these officers feel they deserve 167 million is rediculas a women gets raped and gets awarded up to 40 thousand from victims of crime.So I believe these officers shouldn't get more then 40.thousand some only 20 thousand flirting making comments excetra shouldn't exceed what a lady who has been raped is awarded 20 to 40 thousand these female officers are crooks black malign police to give them 167 million that's rediculas unfair to women who been raped and be told most one can be awarded is 20 to 40 thousand by Victoms of crime .truly there no equal rights to fare settlement why 6 officers gets 167 million yet s citizen only gets a few thousand for being raped or disfigured.its time the police chief takes swift action or step down Fix the problem or you're apart of the problem do what's right charge these sick sexual predators get them out of our police forces world wide not just kitchener Canada World Wide our police cheifs have to have zero tolerance when it comes to a officer comitting crimes and other officers covering things up or turning there heads and a police chief that doesn't immediately take action things only get bigger aswell as the lawsuits..

    Totally scarey how police are above the law if a person chooses a teaching career and comitted criminal offenses especially sexual offenses they would be fired same as a dr or anyone who deals with the public.not sexual council in or demoted.. FIRED.So how does police officers get to carry on doing a job with no fear being fired demoted.Clearly there above the law and think they can't be fired .witch is sickening cause a citizen would been charged and removed from there job but seems police get to keep there jobs not even charged or arrested or removed from the force and above all get to carry a gun since when does a police officer being a sexual offender should be dealt with swiftly fired and banned from a public servant job same as these politicians Equal penalties says in charter of rights every one is equal and treated equally Clearly just meant for citizens not the police there above the law
