POLICE CORRUPTION IN TORONTO

A year ago a black teenager was severely attacked and beaten allegedly by two off-duty police officers. The assault took place in Whitby Ontario by two off-duty brothers and police officers. They have both since been charged with multiple offences in the incident. The teenager has lost the use of his eye from the beating. Meanwhile it turns out that their has been potential collusion between Durham and Toronto p[olice in an attempt to avoid charges being laid against the two brothers and police officers.

Apparently the father of the two officers is himself a senior officer with the Toronto Police and he is a part of the Professional Standards Unit. It is alleged that he attempted to protect his two sons from charges including lying about the extent of alleged injuries received by the one son. Also neither police force ever on their own reported the police derived injuries to the Special Investigations Unit as required. It was Julian Falconer, lawyer to the teenager who advised the SIU about the incident. Last July Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders denied that there had been any sort of a coverup. He also supported his two officers at that time. I wonder how he's feeling about his backing of his officers now, as this continues to unfold. The Waterloo Region Record carried the following article in today's paper titled "Father of Toronto cop charged in Dafonte Miller case removed from Professional Standards Unit".

  1. About time people see the corruption. Cover ups.useless Ness of siu.who just cover up things as well justify officers actions by saying officer feared for his life justifies homoside what ever happened to shoot to main a person if a person has a knife shoot him in arm hand shoulder even a leg for God's sake they need to stop the shoot too kill over stupid Ness .oooohhh I feared for my life he gave me goose bumps so I shot him I feared for public saftey so I shot to kill....half time they know the person and waiting g for there moment to justify there murder so it's justifiable homoside. SMART.compared to low educated people who don't realize you only have to scare a cop nsnd he can or she can shoot to kill obviously be shoot to kill so can't due or tell anyone dead people can't talk they say suicide by police I say provocing for excuse to shoot yo kill people can express there opinions but just not to police that's a death sentence

    2. Don't forget about police corruption in kitchener spokesmen for police I belive is Larkin an ouced he was happy 7 kitchener officer are charged with sexually assault at this present monet .if there still getting a paycheck it's still corrupt .supposed to be fired no pay or does sexually assault not qualify or was it because there only charged with one charge like sexually assault and not given a rack of charges like a citizen would have been charged eith sexually assault for cable confinement break and enter instead unlawfully in dwelling that break n enter for a citizen even if you walk in s home un invited with door unlocked it's still break and enter stslking.like who is making up the charges siu.Rediculass way officers get one charge and usually beat the charge and even if found guilty they keep there job and get demoted what a system we have protect the police and forces reputation seems to be more important then accountability I say body cams for all officer may cost a million but will sane multi million dollar lawsuits Ohh yah body cams are exdpensive sags police chief I think they just don't want public to see there duty work lies and them comiting murder police are biggest armed gang there is and we pay for this that's the saddest part out tax paying dollars are paying for citizens to be murdered raped. Forcible confined strip searched or raped bt police it's time for change body cams and having citizens working eith siu so we know there's atleast 1 person interested in truth besides judges and public
